Job summary

Terradepth seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to own end‑to‑end electrical architecture for autonomous subsea systems. You will lead design, prototyping, testing, and production of power, electronics, sensors, and control interfaces for harsh marine environments.

You will collaborate with mechanical, software, and operations teams, perform FMEA, vendor management, and lifecycle decisions, while mentoring others and guiding design direction in a fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years hands‑on experience in electrical subsystem design.
• Experience with power electronics, harness design, and PCBA layout.
• Knowledge of underwater sensing, comms, and control interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical subsystems including power generation, storage, conversion, and protection.
• Integrate COTS components and design PCBA, harnesses, connectors for sensors and control.
• Develop control interfaces for thrusters and actuators.
• Integrate sensors for data gathering; ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform FMEA and maintain documentation and revision control.
