Job summary

Trase is seeking a Senior or Staff DevOps Engineer to build, deploy, and operate the infrastructure for Red Cell Federal and Red Cell Partners. You will join a dedicated support team focusing on federal programs and partner deployments, with hands-on work across Kubernetes, IaC, secure releases, and observability.

You will collaborate with partner engineers and Trase teams to turn requirements into validated deployments, maintain reusable automation, and mentor engineers while advancing platform

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• 10+ years of software, platform, or DevOps experience with production systems.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/on-prem deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate RCF/RCP partner environments across cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Package and validate Trase OS services using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and registries; maintain image inventories and release manifests.
• Create reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and CI/CD or GitOps workflows (Terraform, Pulumi, Argo CD).
• Prepare networking, IAM, secrets, certificates, storage, and connectivity; support restricted-network deployments.
• Remove cloud-specific dependencies and validate agent workflows end-to-end.
• Own triage and troubleshooting for deployments and production issues; coordinate fixes with partners.
• Deliver tested releases with validation gates, tests, rollback procedures, and release notes.
• Operate observability, logs, dashboards, alerts, and SLOs; support incident response.
• Partner with security teams on container hardening, vulnerability scanning, SBOMs, and RMF/ATO evidence.
• Support sustainment of federal deployments and keep runbooks up to date.
• Maintain deployment guides and onboarding materials for partners.
