Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems – Research & Advanced Design (R&AD) seeks a Senior Staff Chief Engineer to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the Future Aircraft OU, guiding cutting-edge air vehicle concepts from concept to demonstration in Redondo Beach/El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master/PhD in a STEM field with extensive professional/military experience.
- Experience in air vehicle conceptual design, development, and demonstration.
- Ability to obtain DoD clearance and travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for the OU and provide direction to funded activities.
- Define technical requirements and ensure cross-project coordination.
- Interface with customers and senior leadership on technical matters.
- Ensure programs adhere to engineering principles and company policies.
