Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 16 years related experience; or MS with 14 years; or PhD with 12 years.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and providing technical direction.
- Ability to obtain DoD clearances including SAP and TS/SCI, and willingness to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for the operating unit and provide leadership to projects.
- Define and control technical requirements and ensure cross-project coordination.
- Interface with customer and senior leadership to convey technical direction.
- Ensure programs follow engineering principles, policies, and quality standards.
- Oversee technical performance within cost and schedule constraints.
- Chair the Technical Review Board (TRB).
- Assist program managers in risk and opportunity management.
- Provide mentorship in systems engineering to engineering staff.
