Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a seasoned Staff Backend Engineer to architect, design, and maintain Access Security features that use AI to improve access intelligence and remediation workflows. You will build secure, scalable backend services in enterprise environments, leading architecture decisions and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with Go and Python, integrate AI into production systems, mentor engineers, and own end-to-end delivery from design to release and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and delivering AI-enabled backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go and Python with enterprise-grade production experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, optimize, and maintain Access Security features that use AI for access intelligence, risk detection, and remediation workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable backend services for enterprise environments.
• Mentor engineers, lead major technical projects from conception to launch, and drive production readiness.
