ServiceNow is seeking aStaff Backend Engineer to architect, design, and maintain AI-enabled access security features using Go and Python. You will partner with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable backend services and AI-assisted workflows for enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Applied AI experience integrating AI/ML/LLM into production workflows and security-focused access intelligence.
• 10+ years in backend software development building enterprise production software.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and Python/Java with architectural vision.
• Experience designing RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs; PostgreSQL and Neo4j familiarity.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to craft scalable solutions.
• Champion responsible use of LLM frameworks to deliver enterprise-ready access intelligence features.
• Explore IAM patterns to improve resilience, scalability, and performance.
• Contribute to architecture, design, reviews, and testing across releases.
• Mentor engineers to raise quality and reliability and drive production readiness.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery from design to release and operations.
