Job summary

Bizjobz LLC seeks an experienced Staff Attorney to join its Consumer Litigation practice in New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. The role involves handling consumer litigation and arbitration matters, with responsibility for guiding cases from inception to resolution.

The candidate will work closely with Partners, manage deadlines, draft motions, and coordinate with local counsel. Requires 4+ years of experience, strong writing, research, and analytical abilities, plus JD and active bar

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active NY or CA bar membership in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual litigation & arbitration matters under Partners.
• Review pleadings, and case developments; elevate urgent issues.
• Manage case calendars, deadlines, and other critical dates.
• Conduct document review and discovery.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Supervise and coordinate with local counsel.
• Communicate with opposing counsel.
• Assist with settlement negotiations and prepare client settlement recommendations.
• Draft settlement agreements and related documents.
• Appear in court and at arbitration merits hearings as needed.
