Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks a Senior Staff Analog Engineer to design and verify complex analog blocks for custom mixed-signal ASICs, enabling high-performance solutions for automotive and industrial applications.

You will lead feasibility studies, drive layout collaboration, and document designs for production, while working with DFT, test, and product teams to ensure a smooth ramp to volume.

Qualifications

• Fully competent in analog design and verification for mixed-signal ICs.
• Experience with motor drivers (DC, stepper, BLDC) and high-voltage power management.
• Background in data acquisition (ADC/DAC) and current sensing.
• Knowledge of modeling analog circuits and AMS simulations.
• Proficient with Cadence and common EDA tools; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Specify and design CMOS circuits meeting performance, area, power, and timescale constraints.
• Run analog/mixed signal verification simulations at block and chip level.
• Collaborate with project leads to align on system and design strategy for custom ASICs.
• Guide the layout team to ensure quality of layout of own designs.
• Produce high-quality documentation for designed circuits.
• Work with DFT, test, and production teams to support ramp to production.
• Drive silicon debugging and design characterization; participate in reviews.
