Job summary

Renesas, a leading embedded semiconductor company, seeks a Sr. Staff application engineer for the HiRel product group in Silicon Valley. Primary responsibilities include supporting existing analog products and new developments for the space market, covering Precision Op-amps, Instrumentation Amplifiers, references, ADCs, BMS, and more.

Strong programming in Python/Java/C and Verilog is a plus. You will join an engineering team responsible for characterization, datasheets, and customer support,

Qualifications

• Requires US citizen or green card (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and conscientious.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of an engineering team responsible for device characterization, datasheet and application note documentation, and customer support.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary New Product Development engineering team to define, evaluate, characterize, and document new product developments for marketplace introduction.
• Engage with potential customers to refine application needs into deliverable product features for future definitions.
• Support customers in implementing our products into their hardware via email, calls or on-site visits.
• Present at global industry conventions as a speaker.
