Job summary

Intuit’s Virtual Expert Platform (VEP) Sales Tech seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer to set the technical direction for an agentic AI seller platform. You will architect multi‑agent systems end to end, balance hands‑on coding with architectural leadership, and drive cross‑team alignment with product, design, and leadership.

You will work on scalable, secure platforms that integrate with Salesforce, data pipelines, and ML models, while maintaining high reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building web, software, or data‑intensive applications with staff‑level leadership.
• Experience architecting end‑to‑end ecosystems for analytics and customer‑centric platforms at scale.
• Expert in at least one OO language (Java/J2EE or C#) and distributed systems design.
• Hands‑on experience shipping AI/ML capabilities in production, including LLM‑based or multi‑agent systems.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and communicate trade‑offs to senior leaders.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure, customer‑centric platforms interoperable with Salesforce and data pipelines.
• Contribute roughly 40–60% to development across all phases of the software lifecycle; rest on architecture/strategy.
• Drive complex cross‑team problems to resolution with end‑to‑end quality across tech and customer experience.
• Define and evolve technical standards, patterns, and reference architectures; measure AI production impact.
• Take AI integrations to production with evaluation, observability, and guardrails.
• Influence senior product and business leaders; translate trade‑offs for non‑technical audiences.
• Coach and mentor staff and senior engineers; grow AI‑capable engineering bench.
• Stay current with AI and data landscape and identify high‑leverage AI opportunities.
