Intuit’s Virtual Expert Platform Sales Tech team seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer to set the technical direction for an agentic AI seller platform and the data integrations beneath it. You will architect end‑to‑end systems, lead cross‑team initiatives, and shape the roadmap across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in web, software, or data‑intensive applications and technical leadership.
• Experience architecting end‑to‑end ecosystems for analytical platforms at scale.
• Expert in Java/J2EE or C# with ability to design large distributed systems.
• Hands‑on AI/ML production experience, including multi‑agent systems and guardrails.
• Ability to influence technical direction and communicate with senior leadership.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure, interoperable analytical and customer‑centric platforms.
• Remain hands‑on 40‑60% while also focusing on architecture and strategy.
• Resolve the most complex cross‑team technical problems end‑to‑end.
• Define and evolve technical standards and reference architectures.
• Lead AI integrations to production with evaluation, observability, guardrails.
• Communicate strategy to senior product and business leaders.
• Mentor Staff and senior engineers and grow AI‑capable engineers.
• Stay current with AI and data landscape and identify high‑leverage opportunities.
