Job summary

You will partner with project managers and operations to ensure accurate records, timely closes, and strong financial insight. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of construction or project-based accounting, solid GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and Sage Intacct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; construction or project-based accounting preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with job cost accounting systems; Sage Intacct preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with construction billing methods.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable related to the assigned division; bank reconciliations.
• Monitor job costs, labor, equipment usage, subcontractor invoices, and material charges.
• Prepare monthly divisional financial statements and management reporting packages; support audits and controls.
