Job summary

Titan Security in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to own core general ledger and close across multiple entities. You will report to the Corporate Controller and work on journal entries, reconciliations, and multi-state tax compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on ownership of large data sets, collaboration with payroll, HR, and outside advisors, and preparation for external audits. A CPA-eligible profile is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA-eligible and actively pursuing licensure preferred.
• 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• Multi-state tax, multi-entity, and payroll accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own core general ledger and month-end close across entities.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and intercompany entries.
• Manage multi-state sales/use tax filings and tax compliance.
• Maintain ASC 842 lease accounting and related schedules.
• Support audits, lender reporting, and acquisition integration.
