Job summary

Titan Security Group in Chicago seeks a Senior Staff Accountant to own core general ledger and close processes across multiple entities. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and tax compliance, supported by the Corporate Controller.

This hands-on role requires comfort handling large GL, payroll and billing data, and clear communication with payroll, HR, and operations teams, with audit and lender reporting in scope.

Senior Staff Accountant

Location: West Loop Office - Chicago, IL (on-site)

Reports To: Corporate Controller

Position Summary

The Senior Staff Accountant owns core general ledger and close responsibilities across multiple operating entities. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this role prepares journal entries and reconciliations, drives monthly multi-state sales and use tax compliance, supports lease and acquisition accounting, and prepares the schedules behind our external audit and lender reporting. It is a hands-on role with real ownership and broad exposure in a growing, labor-intensive business.

The ideal candidate takes ownership of their accounts end to end, is comfortable working with large GL, payroll, and billing datasets, and communicates clearly with payroll, HR, billing, operations, and outside advisors.
