Leoforce is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing financial services team in Scottsdale, AZ. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close, AR, AP, and billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with ERP systems.

• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, AR, AP, and billing.

Mansioni

• Month-End Close: Assist with monthly close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage customer payments, aging, and follow-up on past-due invoices.
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, verify expenses, and maintain timely payments.
• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and process invoices and ensure billing accuracy.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting analyses.
• General Accounting: Maintain records, expense tracking, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Support GAAP compliance and internal control requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and accuracy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Accounting Manager and other departments to resolve issues.
