The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, 5+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting with focus on AP and GL reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and experience with software system implementation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create and manage financial reports and forecasts.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operations of the accounting department, including AP and GL reconciliations.
• Preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Coordinating and completing annual audits, providing recommendations for improving procedures and systems.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management for future needs and investments.
• Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborating with financial staff to resolve financial issues and discrepancies.
• Keeping up-to-date with accounting software and technologies used for financial purposes.
