Job summary

6 Degrees Group is assisting a client in Atlanta, GA to hire a Staff or Senior Staff Accountant for a temp-to-perm role. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager, Director of Finance, and CFO to clean up processes as acquisitions drive growth.

The role involves maintaining GL accounts, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close with a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Hybrid schedule offered with in-office weeks and flexible arrangements to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–2+ years of corporate accounting experience
• CPA or MBA a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations and analysis, including bank statements and expense accruals
• Assist with month-end close, financial statement prep, budgets, and monthly financial analysis
• Spot process gaps and recommend improvements as the company grows and integrates acquisitions
