Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent with FAS experience.
• 2–5 years in accounting, preferably corporate accounting.
• At least 1 year of automated general ledger accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of intermediate spreadsheet proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Engage in month-end close process and assist staff and management throughout close process.
• Prepare general ledger entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare detailed account reconciliations from GL, external reports, and departments.
• Document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Focus on internal controls and continuous improvement, including balance sheet validations.
• Assist with interim and year-end audits and year-end taxes.
• Analyze information and create ad hoc reports as needed.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current processes.
