Job summary

Grand Palms Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our collaborative finance team. You will assist with month-end, consolidations for multiple entities, and provide timely financial information to leadership and boards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 5–8 years of progressive experience, GAAP proficiency, NetSuite, and advanced Excel, complemented by strong organizational and communication skills in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA designation or candidacy strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in homeowner associations, property management, hospitality, or real estate accounting preferred.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel (pivot, lookups, modeling).
• Strong GAAP knowledge and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist month-end, year-end close for multiple entities and associations.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and supporting docs.
• Support financial statements and reporting for leadership and auditors.
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity and proper transaction coding.
• Handle cash receipts, disbursements, AP, billing, and cash flow reporting.
• Support intercompany transactions and budgeting/forecasting.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal controls.
