Job summary

Global Airtech MFG Inc, based at our Valencia location, seeks a Senior Staff Accountant to maintain and reconcile financial records, prepare journal entries and assist with month-end/ year-end closings. The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical and organizational skills, be proficient in MS Office and inventory systems, and be able to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and follow instructions.
• Proficient with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams; inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile financial records and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and adjusting/ accrual entries.
• Support month-end and year-end close and prepare reports for management and external parties.
• Prepare cash flow, P&L, balance sheet analysis and tax reporting as needed.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure documentation is complete.
