Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Controller with month-end close, GL maintenance, reconciliations, bank reconciliations, tax reporting, asset management, financial reporting and audits.

You will help with journal entries, ledger accuracy, and timely reporting. A Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5–7 years in general accounting are expected, with strong Excel and accounting software skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in general accounting or staff accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Controller with month-end close and related procedures.
• Maintain General Ledger and reconciliations, bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and input journal entries and support financial reporting.
• Participate in audits and tax reporting, fixed assets and depreciation.
• Support Accounts Payable and payroll-related reconciliations as needed.
