Job summary

ProMach in North Carolina is seeking a qualified accounting professional to support the Controller with budgeting, variance analysis, and cost accounting for manufacturing operations.

You will prepare monthly reconciliations, assist with month-end and year-end activities, manage inventory valuations, and develop cost reports for leadership review. A Bachelor\'s in Accounting/Finance and 3-4 years of manufacturing accounting experience are preferred; strong Excel and ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• 3-4 years' accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong MS Excel skills and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist controller with month-end process checklist.
• Assist controller with year-end audits.
• Maintain orders that qualify as Percentage of Completion.
• Assist shared services to maintain vouchers payable report.
• Reconcile customer deposits weekly.
• Monitor negative inventory balances and correct as needed.
• Monitor inventory in non-nettable locations for accuracy.
• Assist inventory cycle count to identify root causes of inaccuracies.
• Maintain sales tax exemption certificates in Avalara CertCapture.
• Manage timing of paying vendor invoices vs. receipts from customers.
• Cost accounting – review production costing, inventory, labor and variances.
• Develop and prepare cost reports for management review.
