• Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory, cost accounting, and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with inventory accounting, cost analysis, and manufacturing‑related transactions.
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and plant leadership to improve financial processes and reporting.

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in the Raleigh, NC area seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This role will play a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross‑functionally with operations and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with inventory accounting, cost analysis, and manufacturing‑related transactions
