Job summary

The A.C.Coy Company is actively seeking a Staff Accountant (Senior) to join a growing CPA firm just south of Pittsburgh, PA. Hybrid work arrangement with full-time, permanent status, and USC / GC work authorization.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of public accounting experience focused on audit. Responsibilities include examining financial statements, organizing records to audit standards, preparing audit reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred or willingness to obtain CPA.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience with a regional CPA firm.
• 2+ years of audit experience.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, bank statements, and payroll records.
• Organize and update financial records to meet audit standards.
• Prepare detailed audit reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and resolve issues.
• Support senior team members on various clients.
