Job summary

SPC Co. is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in the United States, New York area, to bring a strategic approach to analyzing financial information and preparing accurate reports.

You will collaborate with industry experts and committed teams who value individuality and recognize achievements. The role involves compiling and analyzing financial information, reconciling accounts, overseeing bank reconciliations, coordinating month-end close, and preparing monthly/quarterly reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required
• 3+ years related experience preferred
• CPA certification is preferred
• Strong communication skills are required
• Strong analytics and trend analysis experience and knowledge

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
• Review and reconcile financial information in detail for balance sheet accounts.
• Identify and resolve reconciling differences for various accounts.
• Provide oversight of bank account reconciliation process.
• Coordinate and input assigned month-end closing schedules and entries.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Assist with interim and annual external audits.
• Perform progress pay estimate billings for all companies as assigned.
• Provide periodic overload assistance and special project investigation as directed by Accounting Manager, Tax Manager or Assistant Corporate Controller.

How You Will Make an Impact

Who You Are
