FlatironDragados is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to deliver strategic financial analysis and accurate reporting to support informed business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure precise journal entries and reconciliations, enabling timely month-end closes and audit readiness.

The role emphasizes analytics, trend analysis, and effective communication, with a compensation range of $80,000–$95,000 per year.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years related accounting experience preferred.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.

• Provide support for special projects and analyses as directed by management.

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will bring a strategic approach to analyzing financial information and preparing accurate reports, ensuring our business decisions are informed and effective. What You Will Be Doing

• Compile and analyze financial information in order to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
• Review and reconcile financial information in detail for balance sheet accounts.
• Identify and resolve reconciling differences for various accounts.
• Provide oversight of bank account reconciliation process.
• Responsible for preparation, coordination, and input of assigned month-end closing schedules and entries.
• Prepare and distributes of monthly & quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Assist with interim and annual external audits.
• Perform progress pay estimate billings for all companies as assigned.
• Provide periodic overload assistance and special project investigation as directed by the Accounting Manager, Tax Manager or Assistant Corporate Controller.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• 3+ years related experience preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Strong analytics and trend analysis experience and knowledge.
