Job summary

FlatironDragados in Brookhaven, GA is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our office-based team. You will compile and analyze financial information, prepare journal entries, and support month-end close processes to ensure accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information in order to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
• Reconcile financial information in detail for balance sheet accounts.
• Identify potential reconciling differences for various accounts and works with the team to resolve differences.
• Reconcile bank accounts for assigned companies.
• Perform all intercompany billings for assigned companies, and ensure related intercompany accounts are in balance.
• Perform progress pay estimate billings for all companies.
• Assist in preparation, coordination, and input of month-end closing schedules and entries.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Assist with internal and annual external audits.
• Assist with sales and use tax filings.
