Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software systems (SAGE experience preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for various accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations including bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable process.
• Record and file Sales & Use Tax.
• Review project cost and work with project teams to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals and adjusting entries.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Assist with audit preparations and provide supporting documentation as required.

Key Responsibilities
