The Staff Accountant will be tasked with handling full cycle accounting tasks, including the processing and management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, client invoicing, journal entries, financial statement review as well as bank reconciliations. They will support the corporate infrastructure of PINE and must be able to work independently on timely deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounts payable functions, including coding, entering invoices and monitoring incoming invoices
• Responsible for accounts receivable functions, including producing monthly client invoices, maintaining client information in Quickbooks and reviewing invoices to client agreements
• Coding and verifying company credit card charges, and employee expense reports in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Assist vendors and employees seeking information regarding invoices, payments, etc.
• Prepare detailed general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist Management in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Assist in the compilation and coordination of year end financial statements and tax returns, working with outside accounting firm to complete
• Coordination of annual insurance renewals and quarterly sales tax payments
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
• Enter and maintain journal entries
• Work on special projects as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of accounting experience
• Minimum of 4-year college degree required, bachelor’s in accounting preferred
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential
• Previous asset management or pooled vehicle experience required
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks and control gaps in processes and successfully delivering process improvement
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Expensify
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Great attention to detail

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000

Hybrid Work Model

• 3 days in PINE’s Denver office required
• Additional in office days may be required for initial 90-day training period
