Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Safety Analyst focused on plant thermal-hydraulic stability and related safety evaluations for BWR fleets and advanced designs such as BWRX-300. You will support reload applications, conduct stability analyses, and mentor team members.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, core, licensing, and systems teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and high-quality analyses in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (nuclear/mechanical/chemical) from an accredited university.
• 3 years of experience in plant TH stability safety analysis.
• MS/PhD in Nuclear Engineering preferred.
• Experience with BWR/ABWR/ESBWR stability analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct TH stability assessments, plant noise analyses, and PRNM stability interface evaluations.
• Perform fuel-related project activities including reload analyses and safety analysis support.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with design, licensing, and systems teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Document and present technical analyses, recommendations, and results to stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to support team development.
• Develop and deliver training programs for external customers and internal audiences to support knowledge transfer.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and QA processes.
