Job summary

Sciata is seeking a Senior Authentication Engineer to lead enterprise authentication projects, SSO integrations, and IAM initiatives. This remote US-based role focuses on hands-on engineering, authentication protocols, and production support rather than DevOps.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in SSO/IAM, strong SAML 2.0, and excellent collaboration with business stakeholders and vendors. Jira experience is valued in production environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Authentication, SSO, IAM, or Identity Federation.
• Strong SAML 2.0 and enterprise SSO experience.
• Experience configuring, implementing and troubleshooting auth solutions.
• Knowledge of identity federation, authentication flows, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise authentication and SSO solutions.
• Lead onboarding and integration using SAML 2.0 and other protocols.
• Troubleshoot authentication issues and SSO failures in production.
• Collaborate with owners, vendors, and internal teams on requirements.
• Maintain authentication configurations, certificates, and uptime.
• Document processes and track progress in Jira.
• Work with IAM, Security, and Agile teams to improve auth processes.
