Sciata is seeking a Senior Authentication Engineer to support enterprise authentication, SSO integrations, and IAM initiatives. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, production support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience in Authentication, SSO, IAM, or Identity Federation.
• Strong expertise in SAML 2.0 and enterprise SSO integrations.
• Experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting authentication solutions.
• Solid understanding of Identity Federation, authentication flows, access management, and security best practices.
• Experience supporting application onboarding, certificate management, and production authentication integrations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex authentication issues.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders, application teams, and vendors.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise authentication and SSO solutions.
• Lead application onboarding and integration using SAML 2.0 and other authentication protocols.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication issues, SSO failures, and access-related problems.
• Partner with application owners, vendors, and internal teams to gather authentication requirements and implement solutions.
• Support authentication configurations, certificate renewals, and ongoing maintenance of SSO integrations.
• Analyze and resolve production authentication issues, ensuring secure and reliable user access.
• Participate in testing, validation, and production rollouts of authentication integrations.
• Maintain technical documentation, Jira tickets, and project status updates.
• Collaborate with IAM, Security, Product Management, and Agile teams to improve authentication processes.
