Job summary

Arctiq seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to establish a Center of Excellence, partnering with SRE leaders to define standards, release discipline, and a consistent operating model. You will own SLOs, observability, and incident follow-through while enabling application teams to ship safely.

With Dynatrace in place, you will embed reliability into pipelines, implement blue-green releases, and report on DORA metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong SRE and reliability engineering experience including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, production readiness, and DORA metrics.

Responsibilities

• Sit with two or three application teams in a wave and leave templates they can run without you: tags, a small set of service-level objectives, synthetics, and a dashboard.
• Start from a user journey (e.g., sign-in through account summary), select service-level indicators, set a target and window, and track the error budget.
• Build objectives in Dynatrace and keep them as code so non-production and production stay in step; show compliance and burn rate to owners and execs.
• Route alerts through the Dynatrace to ServiceNow path, with a runbook link in the payload.
• Put production readiness in the delivery pipeline: require passing synthetic tests, stable reliability baseline, and blue-green deployment capability.
• Report the wave with DORA metrics and tie the report to the error budget.
• Join the on-call rotation and use Dynatrace and ServiceNow to identify journeys burning budget and failing dependencies.
• After a breach, perform blameless post-incident reviews and translate lessons into runbooks or backlog items.
