Qualifications

• Strong SRE and reliability engineering experience.
• Hands-on Dynatrace experience (RUM, services, synthetics, SLOs, alerting, dashboards).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, GitLab or similar tools, Infrastructure as Code, release controls.
• Experience with Kubernetes, APIs, client-server architectures, and blue-green deployments.
• Strong change management, incident response, on-call practices, ServiceNow, and production troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to lead engineers, establish standards, and drive adoption across teams.
• Strong communication across engineering, owners, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Center of Excellence with the other SRE leaders to set one golden path and one standard.
• Define reliability standards, embed them into pipelines and Dynatrace.
• Own SLOs, production readiness, release gates, and incident response; ensure runbooks exist.
• Coordinate release strategies including blue-green deployments and rollback planning.
• Tie quality metrics to DORA metrics and the error budget.
• Join the on-call rotation and use Dynatrace and ServiceNow to identify responsible journeys.
• Conduct blameless post-incident reviews and convert learnings into runbooks.
• Explain status in plain language to owners and leadership without requiring Dynatrace specialist input.
