Job summary

Feeld is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a fast-growing consumer mobile product. You’ll own the reliability and observability of critical user journeys, work with a distributed squad across Europe and the US, and combine backend engineering with production-scale operations.

You’ll apply Node.js/TypeScript, AWS, Cloudflare, CloudWatch and Sentry to build monitoring, triage incidents, define SLIs/SLOs and drive improvements in tooling and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Senior backend/software engineer with strong Node.js/TypeScript experience.
• Hands-on SRE/Production Engineering experience.
• Strong AWS production experience.
• Experience with Cloudflare and CloudWatch.
• Experience in observability across metrics, logging, tracing and alerts.
• Practical experience responding to production incidents (triage, mitigation, postmortems).
• Ability to interpret signals and independently investigate/resolve issues.
• Understanding of application and infrastructure layers, not just infrastructure.
• Strong communication and ability to work autonomously in a distributed team.
• Comfort with out-of-hours incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own observability for critical product journeys within your squad.
• Define, build and maintain metrics, dashboards and alerts.
• Define and maintain SLIs/SLOs for key services and product-level metrics.
• Improve monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting across the squad systems.
• Act as the first responder for critical P0/P1 production incidents, including out-of-hours.
• Investigate production signals, identify root causes and begin mitigating issues.
• Coordinate with other engineers when broader support or escalation is required.
• Participate in incident triage, mitigation and postmortems.
• Identify recurring reliability issues and drive improvements to infrastructure, tooling and incident-response processes.
• Work closely with backend and product engineers in a distributed, autonomous squad.
