Job summary

Veloc Inc is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms. The role combines deep operational expertise with hands-on engineering in platform automation and deployment pipelines.

You will lead incident response, design DR and high availability, build IaC and CI/CD improvements, and partner with development teams to improve deployment safety and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SRE, DevOps, or cloud ops experience.
• Experience in cloud environments Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
• Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk).
• Solid networking, Linux/Windows administration, and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with incident response, production troubleshooting, and on-call.
• Excellent cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Own monitoring, alerting, on-call support for SaaS platforms.
• Lead major incident response and postmortems.
• Design high availability, DR, and RTO/RPO targets.
• Investigate production incidents across infra, platform, and app.
• Design and maintain IaC, CI/CD, deployment automation.
• Drive standardization of cloud infra and deployment governance.
• Mentor engineers on reliability and incident management.
