Job summary

Oxylabs is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to own and evolve Webshare's production infrastructure. You will lead the on-prem migration from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes, maintain high availability across hundreds of servers and ~50 services, and drive observability with the team.

You will establish IaC practices, ensure CI/CD reliability, and participate in on-call rotations. Candidates should excel in scripting and have hands-on K8s in bare-metal environments.

Qualifications

• Built and operated highly available infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in self-hosted or bare-metal environments.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Proactive, communicates issues before being asked.
• Scripting and software development skills.

Responsibilities

• Own production infrastructure and drive reliability.
• Lead migration from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes on premises.
• Maintain high availability across hundreds of servers and ~50 services.
• Drive observability with the development team.
• Establish IaC and CI/CD pipeline reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotation with backend engineers.
• Respond to incidents, run post-mortems, drive remediation.
• Contribute to platform tooling to reduce infra toil.
• Own infrastructure together with backend engineers.
