Job summary

Ripple is seeking an experienced Senior SRE/Observability Engineer to join the Technical Operations team in a hybrid role based in IL. You will design and implement monitoring, SLOs/SLIs, and incident management across Azure and AWS in predominantly Windows environments, while coaching product teams to raise reliability.

You will own hands-on observability work, craft Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, manage Incident.IO and on-call processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to mature

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on engineering with coaching across teams.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and dashboards across Azure and AWS.
• Define and implement SLOs/SLIs and error budgets; coach teams.
• Lead alert noise reduction and cost optimization of observability.
• Develop Terraform infrastructure for monitoring resources.
• Administer Incident.IO and runbooks; manage on-call rotations.
