Job summary

Filevine is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to be the senior technical authority on the SRE team. You will shape production reliability, set standards for observability and platform infrastructure, and partner with engineering leadership to align reliability with business goals.

You will own two domains—Observability & Alerting and Platform Infrastructure— mentor engineers, lead complex incidents, and drive permanent improvements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software or SRE with 6+ years in SRE
• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives
• Expert in observability and platform infrastructure
• Proficient in Python, Go, Bash or similar
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and communicate risk clearly
• Experience with regulated environments (FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI) preferred

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy for Observability & Alerting and Platform Infrastructure
• Lead evolution of reliable, scalable cloud platforms and distributed systems
• Champion SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, and automation
• Lead complex production incidents and drive permanent improvements
• Mentor engineers and set reliability direction
