Job summary

Filevine is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join a cross‑functional team focused on building autonomous systems at internet scale. You will drive observability, automation, and reliability across critical services while mentoring engineers and leading major technical initiatives.

The role emphasizes on-call leadership, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness, with opportunities to apply AI/ML telemetry to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/platform engineering or DevOps, incl. 5+ years dedicated to SRE.
• Cloud platforms (AWS), Kubernetes, IaC, and full-stack observability (tracing, logging, SLI/SLOs). Grafana, Datadog, NewRelic
• Automation & scripting in Python, Go, or Bash for CI/CD pipelines and production tooling.
• Incident leadership with RCA
• Leadership & mentorship experience across cross‑functional projects
• Operational AI/ML experience using telemetry data to forecast capacity risks and optimize workflows

Responsibilities

• Observability & alerting: design and improve monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and SLOs.
• Automation & CI/CD: build internal tools and pipelines to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Reliability & system quality: drive improvements in performance, scalability, and security.
• Incident management: lead production incident response and create durable runbooks.
• Technical leadership: guide major initiatives and align cross-team efforts.
• Mentorship: elevate SRE capability through reviews and problem-solving.
• On-call: participate in rotation and plan capacity/disaster recovery.
• AI/ML operationalization: use telemetry data to detect anomalies and forecast risks.
