Synapse Health is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to drive platform evolution from legacy Azure toward a Kubernetes-based, microservices-driven architecture. You will lead reliability, scalability, and automation efforts across cloud-native infrastructure.

You will collaborate with engineering and data teams to implement observability, incident response, and cost-management practices, shaping the platform for fast growth in healthcare tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering
• Cloud environments experience (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
• Strong Kubernetes production experience
• Experience deploying/managing apps on Kubernetes using Helm
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation
• Observability/monitoring and incident response in production
• Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI/CD)

Responsabilités

• Platform & Infrastructure Evolution: migrate from legacy Azure to containerized, microservices-based systems
• Design, build, and scale Kubernetes-based infrastructure and tooling
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure reliability and scalability from day one
• Drive standardization across infrastructure to reduce silos and enable ownership
• Cost optimization: monitor cloud usage, identify inefficiencies, implement cost strategies
• Networking: design and manage secure networking, endpoints, VPNs, and inter-environment connectivity
• Design resilient, cloud-native systems with high availability and observability
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for long-term improvements
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and IaC automation
• Document systems and share knowledge to improve reliability
