Job summary

Kyndryl in the United States is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, performance, and observability of our enterprise AI platform running on Kubernetes and Azure cloud services. You will define SLIs/SLOs, build dashboards, support CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, and collaborate with DevOps, data science, and security teams to reduce toil and improve resilience.

Experience with Terraform, OpenTelemetry, and cloud monitoring tools is highly valued, and curiosity about

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Info Systems, or related field.
5+ years in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or cloud ops.
Hands-on Kubernetes production experience and cloud deployments.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure is a plus.
Familiarity with observability tooling and incident management.

Responsibilities

Monitor platform health and define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Build observability for AI workloads with dashboards and telemetry.
Operate Kubernetes clusters and Azure cloud services.
Automate CI/CD with GitHub Actions and reliability checks.
Use Terraform and IaC for cloud provisioning in a secure manner.
Participate in on-call and incident investigations with blameless reviews.
Plan capacity, perform load testing, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
Collaborate with developers, data scientists, security, and enterprise architecture.
