Job summary

Apple is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer for the Infrastructure Services team in Sunnyvale, CA.

You will ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of backbone network components and services while working closely with developers to design resilient hosting architectures and streamlined CI/CD pipelines. You will implement advanced observability practices including tracing, logging, metrics, and alerting, and champion a DevOps culture to accelerate release velocity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming (Python, Bash, Go, Java, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of application and networking platforms, APIs, and integrations.
• Collaborate with development to design resilient hosting architectures and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement observability/monitoring: tracing, logging, metrics, and alerting for apps and network devices.
• Promote DevOps culture to improve release velocity and reduce failures.
