Job summary
Apple Inc. in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of Apple’s Backbone Network and related infrastructures. You will work across hardware, software, and tooling while applying DevOps best practices.
The role requires 3+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong scripting skills, and hands-on CI/CD and monitoring tooling experience. Join a fast-paced team responsible for highly available services across Apple’s cloud and data center
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps/Software Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Go, Java, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of application and networking platforms.
- Collaborate with development to design resilient hosting architectures and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement observability/monitoring with tracing, logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Promote DevOps culture to improve release velocity and reduce failures.
