Job summary

Apple Sunnyvale is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join the Enterprise Technology Services team. You’ll collaborate with application teams to automate operations, optimize infrastructure, and resolve incidents in a fast-paced environment, ensuring reliable, scalable, high-performing systems.

You’ll apply SRE principles, monitor and troubleshoot at scale, and work with Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, CI/CD, and security standards to maintain the integrity of Apple’s critical services.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience with Java or scripting (Python / Bash / LUA)
Hands on experience in one or more databases (Relational / NoSQL like Oracle, MongoDB)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (equivalent practical experience)

Responsibilities

Monitor and improve system reliability and performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to automate operations and optimize infrastructure.
Troubleshoot incidents and lead responses to maintain service levels.
