Job summary

Altium Limited, headquartered in San Diego, California, seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of its cloud platforms. You will automate tasks, enhance observability, and contribute to incident management while collaborating with development and technology teams to build scalable applications.

Role requires 6+ years in SRE/DevOps and 3+ years in software development, with strong .NET and Kubernetes/AWS experience, plus Terraform/Ansible

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE/DevOps for large-scale environments.
• 3+ years software development experience; .NET preferred.
• Strong observability with tools such as NewRelic, ELK, Grafana, PagerDuty, OTEL.
• Production Kubernetes, AWS experience; CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub/ArgoCD.
• IaC with Terraform and Ansible; basic networking skills.
• Relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) experience; US permanent resident required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of Altium Cloud Platforms.
• Automate operational tasks and improve observability across regions.
• Develop reliability frameworks and standardized patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering to build scalable, resilient systems.
• Participate in incident response, post-incident analysis, and on-call rotations.
• Promote IaC and automation; champion SOO principles for clear ownership.
