Job summary
Barclays in Whippany, NJ seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Identity Services to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of a global identity platform. You will apply software engineering and SRE practices, leveraging automation and AI-assisted tooling to build self-healing infrastructure and observability across the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications
- Experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering mentoring highly available production systems.
- Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure, IaC, and container orchestration in production at scale.
- Experience driving reliability with SLOs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
- Strong incident response experience with P1/P2 incidents and RCAs.
- Automation and scripting in Python, Bash, Go, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of identity systems globally.
- Lead incident response, triage, and post-mortems; coordinate bridges and RCAs.
- Develop tools and scripts to automate operational processes.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and resource usage.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability in the SDLC.
- Stay informed on tech trends and contribute to engineering communities.
