Job summary

Wix is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to architect and scale DeviantArt’s high-throughput AWS infrastructure. You will drive automation, optimize database performance, harden security, and ensure maximum uptime through robust deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities include building scalable AWS infrastructure, incident response, CI/CD pipelines, and on-call duties, with a focus on security and cost efficiency across 1.5B+ monthly views.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in scale systems (DevOps/Platform/SRE).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex systems.
• Excellent Linux CLI and production debugging abilities.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Terraform IaC, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-scale AWS infrastructure to support 1.5B+ monthly views.
• Maximize uptime with incident response and automated pipelines.
• Scale and maintain sharded MySQL and search infra (Vespa).
• Build zero-downtime CI/CD pipelines (Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, CodeBuild).
• Automate provisioning and configuration with testing and docs.
• Enforce security, perform patch management, and mitigate DDoS.
• Optimize AWS spend while preserving performance.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call with a three-engineer rotation.
