Job summary

PointClickCare is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead an engineering-focused team responsible for operations at scale. You will improve automation, monitoring, and reliability across cloud and on-prem environments, partnering with security and development teams.

The role emphasizes DevOps practices, incident readiness, and scalable architecture to ensure performance and cost control. Strong cloud and container expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Hands-on software development or architecture experience.
• Experience in DevOps or system administration.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and production environments.
• Proficiency in one or more of C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of SDLC, QA, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a growing operations-focused team.
• Monitor service level objectives and KPIs for applications.
• Design operational solutions to improve automation, repeatability, and consistency.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and performance tooling.
