Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud and on-premise infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, focusing on automation, scalability, and performance. Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Senior SRE or equivalent role.
• Expertise in IaC using Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Proficient with AWS for secure, scalable, resilient cloud architectures.
• Experience with distributed data streaming and caching systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure via Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Own and optimize AWS cloud environment for cost, security, and high availability.
• Manage Kubernetes environments (Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Kustomize).
• Scale data streaming systems (Confluent Cloud, Kafka) for enterprise processing.
• Deploy and maintain Redis for caching and real-time data processing.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response with Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, OpsGenie/ PagerDuty.
• Facilitate controlled feature deployments with LaunchDarkly.
• Partner with software teams to integrate new services into existing infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues to maximize uptime.
• Drive continuous improvement of automation tooling and engineering practices.
• Stay current on evolving SRE trends and adopt best practices.
